SPOKANE, Wash. (Aug. 4, 2016) – Northwest Farm Credit Services is proud to award the Deer Park Fair Association DBA Clayton Community Fair in Clayton, Wash., a $1,000 Northwest FCS Rural Community Grant.
“We are so thankful to Northwest Farm Credit Services for the grant, which will help add a lean to onto our pig/lamb barn just in time for the fair at the end of August,” said Sarah Cotter, Fair President. “This is going to ease crowding for all people and our animals, making the fair much safer and more comfortable. We are just so grateful for your help!”
Northwest FCS is committed to helping rural communities succeed. During the first two rural grant cycles of 2016, more than $191,000 was awarded. Since the program’s inception in 2007, the company has presented 587 rural grants totaling more than $1,138,050.
