After Settlers Day is over you are encouraged to head north for the short trip to Clayton, WA for the 35th Annual Clayton Brickyard Day.
Clayton Brickyard Day is always held on first Saturday in August. The event includes a benefit breakfast, parade (with free helium balloons for all the kiddos), historical displays, BBQ/picnic, children’s games, Brickyard Day 5-K fun run, live music, a silent dessert auction and an outdoor movie.
The Clayton Brickyard 5K fun run begins at 8:00 AM at the Clayton Grange. The breakfast takes place at Clayton Grange between 8;00 -10:00 AM. The parade begins at 10:30 AM at intersection of Railroad and Carr and ends at the Clayton School building. The BBQ, children’s games, live music, historical display, and silent dessert auction (11:00 AM- 1:00 PM) all take place at the Clayton School (9:00 AM -3:00 PM). The outdoor movie begins at dusk in the vacant area immediately south of the Clayton Grange.
