Board member Travis Hanson leads the discussion

At the chamber’s September luncheon meeting, the focus was on hearing from those in attendance regarding their thoughts, needs, and vision about the current and future business environment in the Deer Park area.  More importantly, how can the Deer Park Chamber of Commerce help in addressing those concerns. Leading the meeting was Board Member Travis Hanson who asked the group to consider the following questions:

– How can the Deer Park Chamber most effectively serve its members

– What is the most pressing issue facing your business?

– When you think about the future of Deer Park, what are the most pressing issues from your perspective as a member of the business community? What role can the Chamber play in addressing those issues?

Members in attendance met in small groups to ensure everyone could voice their opinion

The Chamber Board will review the feedback they received at the meeting and will put that feedback to use as they seek to better serve the needs of the business community.

Thanks to all those who attended.

This month’s chamber luncheon was hosted by the First Street Bar and Grill, 122 W 1st St in Deer Park.
