The Deer Park School Board is comprised of five directors elected by Deer Park voters – each to a four year term. Four of the five directors in Deer Park represent a “director district,” while one member of the Deer Park Board is elected “at large” (that is, the seat is not tied to a Director District).
All business of the School Board is conducted in open public meetings except for matters involving property or personnel issues. Simply stated, it is not the job of the Board to manage schools, but rather to oversee that schools are managed well.

Hearts for Dollars for Scholars Fundraiser "Hearts for Scholarships" fundraiser will be at local businesses during February. Donations collected during the campaign fund the annual Hearts Fund scholarship for Deer Park School District graduates. Last year this campaign provided funds to award three local students scholarships totaling $1,250. Every dollar raised in Deer Park stays in Deer Park!

With cold and flu season hitting our donors hard we are asking for help from past donors who are feeling healthy.
