Chamber will be having a duck race during Settlers festivities

Ducks are only $2 each and the race begins at 12 noon. There will be cash prizes for the first three ducks that win. $50 for first place, $25 for second place, and $15 for third place winners. Please purchase your ducks at Flowers by Melo's located at W. 12 Crawford. Ducks will also be sold along the parade route during the parade. Come and join the fun with a duck race during the Settlers festivities in Mix Park.  All profits from duck sales will go to Miss Deer Park Scholarship Fund.

Welcome Banners are up and welcoming for the summer season

It was a long time coming but we finally have the banners up to welcome folks to Deer Park. In addition to the welcome banners we also have 100th year anniversary banners to line the streets of Deer Park. Thank you to the City of Deer Park and Avista Utilities for your help and support.

Settlers Day Dash is added to festivities on July 26, 2008

There is a new fun run the morning of the Settlers Day Parade. Please check the Area Events page for an entry form. http://www.deerparkchamber.com/Area_Events1.htm There are cash prizes for the winners of this event.

S.C.O.P.E. is Looking for New Directors

       The Sheriff's Community Oriented Policing Effort (SCOPE) has open seats on its Board of Directors, and is now recruiting board applications from throughout Spokane County. Persons interested in filling a board position can contact SCOPE Board President Susan Brudnicki at 509-217-2965 for further information.
